  • Looking For Good Boat Navigation Supplies

In the last recent couple of years the boat industry has see a massive increase in interest, is it any wonder why? Now let me tell you I can’t think of a more enjoyable and relaxing way of spending my spare time cruising out in the big sea in a boat that is mine and with my family and friends around me for good company.

Are you one of the many boat lovers out there?  Now I will bet you that you all, at some point in time, will have needed to find a good supplier of boat navigation parts.  These days there are many options available to you but when it comes to good companies there are about two that in my book are worth considering as a worthwhile option.  Let’s look at each one in turn.

    The Marine Parts Source company.

This company is an excellent choice for boat navigation supplies and one of the main reasons is because they are privately owned and also they have the experience of providing marine parts, including boat navigation supplies, around the globe.  They are continually updating their inventory with new and innovative boat parts and related products.

    Precision Props.

Precision Props are another excellent company and I think they are a worthwhile option if you’re looking for quality boat navigation supplies. This company was established in 1971 and started off as a small business, they’ve continued to work extremely hard since this time and are dedicated to their customer base.  They are now seeing the results as they are now considered to be an industry leader.

    Buying Used.

The options I have mentioned previously only offer new unused parts, you do have the option however of buying brand-new parts.  There is a massive amount of vendors out there that can supply you with second hand or used navigation supplies. One of the most notable that comes to mind is eBay who have a great reputation and are well known globally.

But there  are a couple of things that you need to consider if you want to use eBay as a supplier.  Generally speaking you will not get a detailed view and inspection of the boat navigation parts from a picture displayed on eBay.  Seeing and handling them would be more beneficial however due to the nature of eBay this is not possible.

It goes without saying that if you are not able to handle or inspect the boat navigation parts you will at least need some sort of insurance or warranty if the parts prove to be unsuitable once you have received them.
